For Cienne’s Fall/Winter 2016 campaign, we traveled to Bolivia to document the female cooperative of knitters behind one of the collection’s hand-knit sweaters—capturing the people, process, and landscapes connected to its materials and artisans. Shot in a documentary style across mountains, cities, and everyday life, the series highlighted the culture and craftsmanship behind the knitwear.

The story extended through editorial coverage in Vogue, and a gifting program featuring handmade scarves and blankets presented in custom Cienne packaging.
